Things have been pretty busy around here! Events, orders and general making are really keeping me out of trouble.
At the markets I sold at in Stoke Newington & Angel last week I reintroduced the motivational message tags that I've always had as part of my range, but with new packaging and a bit of an updated style. They were ever so popular, and I'm making some more ready for this weekend, and to get on the Etsy shop soon too.
Another really popular item has been hand printed notebooks. As with my cards, anything with the word 'bloody' on sells a treat! Folk have been really loving these, which is wonderful as they're so much fun to make and add my silly little comments to.
Apologies that both are iphone pics, but you get the general idea! I promise you'll be seeing more of these in the up and coming weeks.
So this weekend! Well! It's all getting a bit surreal and exciting but on Saturday I'm selling at the OLYMPIC PARK (those capitals were justified) as part of the Barbican's Open East Festival. It looks like a brilliant event and I'm so excited to be there. I just hope I get the chance to slip off and see the Jeremy Deller inflatable Stone Henge!
It was just less than a year ago I went to see the Synchronised Swimming at the Olympics, that was a fun ol' day.
Then on Sunday I'm back at the wonderful Harringay Market. Fingers crossed for organic ice lollies in the sunshine! I'll probably be a bit weary by then (a day off is on the cards soon...) so mine is a soya flat white please! With the weather mostly being kind, it's the perfect Sunday afternoon treat to pop along to for some food, merriment and maybe to stock up on cards and small gifts from your favourite squirrel.
Back to work! Aided by a homemade milkshake at course. They are my rocket fuel! (this one was neopolitan, however I slurped most of it before getting a picture because it was so tasty!)
