Music for March

Earworms this month are mostly inspired by a lovely evening I had in February which was spent with one of my favourite people potting daffodils and watching 500 Days of Summer.

1. The Smiths - There is a Light that Never Goes Out
I think I've decided that this is my all time favourite song. It conjures up some amazing memories and still makes me shiver. Structurally, it's pretty perfect too.

2.Kate Nash - Doo Wah Do
I never had much to say about this lass but this came on my spotify t'other day and I remembered this song! I've listened to it a lot, and there was a situation very recently where I was singing this in my head all day and just wanting to say the last line outside to someone's face. I'm too nice though!

3. Sleigh Bells - Rill Rill

4. Mumm-Ra - She's Got You High
"You can't deny you want the happy ending"

5. Hall & Oates - You Make My Dreams
One of my top five moments of 500 Days of Summer

6. B*Witched - Blame it on the Weatherman
I don't care what anyone says, this song is brilliant.

7. The Strokes - What Ever Happened?

8. Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill

9. Dusty Springfield - You Don't Have To Say You Love Me
Oh Dusty, I bloody love you

10. Shed Seven - Chasing Rainbows

To be analytical, most of the songs I've listed hint at searching for something or feeling a little lost. Funnily enough, this last month is the least lost I've felt in a while. Busy, but trying to fit in as many adventures as possible! Tonight's is having friends for dinner and wine, and watching a bit of comic relief telly, so not a big adventure, but probably a lovely one. Oh weekend, I adore you!
